Not everyone who supports Habitat dons a tool belt and hammer. Such volunteers are essential. But equally essential are those who bring other gifts to the work: gifts of organizational skills, gifts of communication, gifts of planning, gifts of hospitality--even gifts as practical as meal preparation.

Johnson County Habitat for Humanity has six active committees, each one continually seeking fresh ideas and new energies.
